AFTER EVENT GATHERING
BWHF is a curated event for Black women in the Bay Area to access information, resources, and community connections that support informed choices for improving health and well-being.
Featuring dynamic speakers, candid discussions, a resource fair, and giveaways, the event aims to help attendees:
We need each other to survive. We’ve built a brave, safe, collaborative space for you to engage with healthcare experts and other attendees to discuss a vision and create pathways to a healthier future.
Black women naturally show up for others; it’s time to show up for yourself. You’ll gain insights into the importance of self-care, integrating wellness strategies into your routine, and accessing community resources that support holistic well-being.
You have the power to get things done. We’ll strengthen your capacity for self-advocacy and prepare you for collective advocacy that improves health outcomes across the Bay Area’s Black communities.
Black women are often ignored or dismissed by the providers and systems they rely on for care. Together, we will begin to heal that harm by creating space for your stories, honoring your experiences, and exploring what culturally responsive care looks like.
Black Women’s Health Forum is managed by Jeweld Consulting.
