Joyce Njoroge, MD

Joyce Njoroge, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist with Stanford Health Care’s Advanced Heart Failure Program and a clinical assistant professor of medicine. She specializes in diagnosing and treating pregnancy-related heart complications, particularly cardiomyopathy and heart failure.

Her research focuses on genetic markers and disparities in maternal heart health, especially among Black women. She is also leading a multicenter clinical trial on cardiovascular treatment in pregnancy.

Dr. Njoroge has published widely and is a member of several cardiology organizations.
